Nekojima is a beautifully crafted wooden dexterity game where players must carefully balance electric poles—called Denchuu—without letting the cables touch or the structure topple. Inspired by Japan’s real-life “Cat Island,” the game is set in a charming world where a new power grid must be installed across narrow, cat-filled neighborhoods. But space is tight, and stability is everything.
Players take turns placing Denchuu on a shared board, stacking them higher and higher while maintaining balance and following specific placement rules. Use both hands, stay steady, and stay sharp—every move counts. In competitive mode, the player who causes the collapse loses. In cooperative mode, the challenge is to see how far the group can go before everything comes crashing down.
With its progressive difficulty, Nekojima is easy to learn yet offers deep challenges for players of all ages and skill levels—from kids just discovering the basics of balance to seasoned dexterity game pros.
