The amoebas are on the loose—catch them if you can!
In Panic Lab, chaos reigns as slippery amoebas escape the lab and slither off in every direction. As quick-thinking scientists, players must race to identify and track down the correct amoeba based on a wild mix of clues.
To begin, shuffle the 25 tiles and lay them out in a circle. Each round starts with a roll of four custom dice that reveal everything you need to know: the amoeba’s color, shape, and pattern, the color of the lab it escaped from, and the direction it went.
But it’s not that simple. If the amoeba passed through a vent, you’ll need to jump to the next one before continuing your search. And if it oozed through one of the mutation chambers, its appearance will change—maybe gaining a tail, swapping colors, or sprouting tentacles. Stay sharp and adjust your search accordingly!
All players compete at the same time, scanning the circle to slap their hand down on the correct tile. The first to do so earns a token—and the first to collect five tokens wins the game.
