Warhammer 40,000 Faction: Adepta Sororitas

Adepta Sororitas in Warhammer 40,000

The Adepta Sororitas, the Sisters of Battle, are the warrior order of the Imperial church, armoured women who fight with unshakeable faith. On the table they are faith-driven infantry with flamers, bolters and melta weapons, supported by tanks and holy war engines, and their acts of faith let them defy the odds at key moments.

They suit players who like a mid-sized, characterful army with strong shooting at short range and a distinctive gothic look. The range spans battle Sisters, Seraphim and other squads, characters, Rhino and Immolator vehicles, Penitent Engines and Combat Patrol boxes. Everything here is a genuine Games Workshop product, sold in the UK by Tabletop Dominion.

Collecting Adepta Sororitas: A good second army and a workable first one: the models are all plastic and the army is easy to understand, though it rewards careful use of its faith mechanics. A sensible first purchase is a starter box where one exists, or a couple of units and a leader, with the Warhammer 40,000 rules and a small set of paints. Stock shown here updates from our warehouse system through the day, and in-stock items sort to the top.

Browse the wider Warhammer 40,000 Imperium armies page, or compare with Imperial Agents and Space Marines. When it is time to paint, our Citadel paints collection carries the base, layer, shade and contrast ranges, and all Warhammer lists every Games Workshop product we stock.
